Your speech in the Parliament was basically a election speech. The Parliament is meant for stating and discussing the existing issues and how the Govt wishes to deal with them. Instead the FInance BIll has beEn used SURREPTITIOUSLY by this Govt to amend the FCRA and Peoples representation Act. We heard what your Govt did in the past four years by ignoring the very serious problems faced by the country. You made comparisons with the last Govt's only for three years which suited you and ignored the GDP growth during their regime as compared to your own Govt. True that a lot was spent on infrastructure when the Govt enjoyed very low crude prices- 40/50% less that what prevailed earlier. This enabled you to spend on roads and infrastructure at the cost of farmers and rural populations. Aadhaar was introduced by the previous Govt. GST and other FDI proposals were shot down by your party in the Rajya sabha for several years. IN fact the only economic reforms done by this Govt are those initiated or proposed by the previous Govt and the country is grateful for you for that. We seem to have far bigger problems today that before.
The situation in Kashmir is very volatile and we have more of our brave army jawans being killed than before. The plight of our farmers have been neglected in the last few years. The health scheme for the poor is good but has notr been provided enough funds. MOdiji, your intentions sound good but ground realities are different

most of the govt banks were involved in bad loans and instead of punishing them for their misdeeds (read financial crime) the current govt infuse funds to the tune of 1 lakh crore ???

From Emergency to bad loans, PM Modi

sir, saw your speech in the parliament yesterday. Exceptional oratory skills. Only confusion was I wanted to hear a sophisticated PM speak & I got to hear the Pradhan Pracharak's hate speech in an election campaign. What I would expect to hear at rallies, I got to hear in the August house. You seem more obsessed with Congress than the Congress people themselves. If you someday really succeed in making Congress Mukt India, I am afraid India may become Modi Mukt too as you will have no other work left to do.

As a banker i can tell you that in 2014 what UPA left was a big banking mess with most of the banks' B/S looking at huge write offs and provisions. That time public was paying Rs.82 for oil, the lending rates were 10% and NPA was close to 1/4th of the total loan or more.. Cleaning of this mess was not easy which Mr Modi did over past 3 1/2 years .. Currently loans are available at 8.25% , NPA is more or less controlled, bank write offs and provisions are almost completed.. So to be frank we survived a catastrophe due to financial prudence of the govt which maintained its fiscal well within the limits .. So give credit to PM modi where it dues.. Simply criticizing him to bring that corrupt UPA 2 shows your extraordinary love for corrupt dynasty politics..

Modi speech
by arungopal agarwal on Feb 08, 2018 12:23 PM

Congress and others were needing such treatment, we admire Modi for showing mirror to indisciplined and hate spreading party who governed us for a very long time. Yes majority of the problems are faced by us due to congress only.
Let the veil of ignorance on voters be lifted particularly from the eyes of poor, dalits, minorities, and poor for whom congress were befooling them from the last 70 years just to keep the powers with them.
Tax payers money is officially looted by politicians, and govt. servants by way of DA linked, salary and perqs. - maximum expenditure on them only out of total collection, whereas one can see in civil life, other than govt. servants how people are living-in a very very bad situation, particularly post retirement.

When a man is afraid of the future he talks only about the past. Modiji, forget what Congress has done in the past and talk about the future.

He was answering to oppositions false propaganda.
Meanwhile if opposition is really interested in Future of India then they must debate issues not disrupt the sessions
