With all due respect to Mr Shekhar Gupta, this is one of worst lame defence possible of Mr. Manmohan Singh's role as PM.
I just cannot ever forgive Mr Manmohan Singh for watching a cricket match with the Pakistani PM /President - this was after so many terrorist attacks against India instigated by Pakistan in which so many innocent Indians and soldiers lost their lives.
There needs to be some respect for the blood of our soldiers and countrymen.

I m sure you must have knowingly decided to forget that Mr. Modi went to Pakistan to have a biryani at Nawaz Sharif's daughter's wedding when he wasn't even invited. BTW, some soldiers were dying even then on the borders.

Not a distant past when BJP leaders were using filthy languages to humiliate Dr. Manmohan Singh as a person as well as a Prime Minister .At that time they did not consider him as highly knowledgeable and literate person rather they taunted about his knowledge in economics . Now, it is ridiculous how the situation has changed, they have become Dr. Manmohan Singh bhakt to create a rift in the congress and damage the good relation between Rahul Gandhi & Dr. Manmohan Singh by fabricating a cock & bull story to destroy the public image of Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi.But, they are really living in fools paradise because common mass of India can not be fooled now since they have already seen what is right and what is wrong.

All are corrupt. All party leaders have acquired wealth after becoming ministers. But, Manmohan considerd poor people, while making policies. Manmohan answered the questions of Media. Manmohan has not acquired wealth like Gandhi and Kamaraj. He dressed simply, eventhough highly educated. He spoke to poor farmers.

He is intelligent ,highly educated & knowledgeable person in his field of Economics.May be due to circumstances he was suppressed But if he has become active is a good sign for India. In fact he was the only person without any personal comments had mentioned hoe demonetization figures were incorrect,he had also specified why it is not a good measure. Yes, he is not a politician & is academician but then India needs intelligent person even if in opposition. Request to both BJP And Congress not to suppress the academician in him.And If he had the guts to hit bad blood in congress ,would he not have slapped opposition for personal comments on him ?

Dear Markand Desai ,thanks for your comments.Agreed not opening up was his biggest drawback & it punished him Also bad blood in congress made use of his financial knowledge and then left him to be attacked( even personal non professional remarks)by opposition.But he is very honest too there are no scams or even rumours of mis appropriation of funds in any way.Nor did he spent money lavishly.Whichever party he may belong but there is no doubt that he is Intelligent in his field and thinker too.In fact such people should be invited in Finance commission who will give proper guidance.

Everybody can not be brave like Mr Nandan Nilekani .Did not BJP try to finish him & implementation of aadhar by opposing Aadhar launching.Mr Nilekani survived only owing to his nature & professional experience to handle & overcome such crisis & succeeded too. Now same people & same BJP is worshipping AAdhar for intentions known to everyone.Why he was made to feel frustrated & not allowed to function ? MrManmohan Singh is too mild & easy soft target . Can any one dispute or challenge Mr Singh's knowledge ?Lets not mix things & be biased at least about about Mr Singhs thorough knowledge of economics.
