the problem with democratic india is that even the so-called educated people are not well informed and can easily be swayed by some incident somewhere. While exercising their franchise, they do not think abut the pros and cons and only has an eye on immediate benefits. Country comes last, the priority question is 'What about ME'?

Why license were favoured to only 2 to 3 rich families? Why there were only Fiat, Ambassador, Vespa scooter n limited production of other things.... Even PMs of Pak, China, Russia etc are wearing suits daily... Suit was sold for Rs. 20 lakhs n amount was credited to Govt...

Even if we start counting the misdeeds of Nehru Indira and Rajeev, it will take 50 years to finish all that. So BJP has one issue or the other to publicise of Nehru family for next 50 years. dalal street is not main street. India will grow when the people in the main street are having jobs, able to eat two square meals a day and can save for their future. The current govt's policies appear to favor the rich at the cost of middle class and the poor. Hence we have the rich and super rich cringing to modi's tune!

It did give jobs!It abolished Zamindaari which allowed the tillers to get land.It establishd Bhuilai,Durgapur,Rourkela,Steel plants which eneabled a newly independent Nation to stand up!!! But BJP in last 4.5 yrs has only deivded in Caste/Religios lines???????????????????

Nobody said India has not developed. Mr. Jhujhunwala gave you figures of developmen in each decades. The money for development was not spent from Nehu's or Indira's pocket. It is public money. Yes, of course, the governments are supposed to do developments with public money only. The government's primary duty is to spend the money collected from citizens is used purposefully and not that 75% of its go to some foreign bank and 25% is spend here to show that we indeed do developmental activities.
