I think, one should read Bhagavad Gita As It Is, by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada. In this book one can truly know the true goal of life. The term "our soul" is incorrect! It is "our body". WE are not the body. We ARE souls!. I beg all of you, since you are Indians (me to but I am born in Europe, ancestors were from India). As Indians you should be familiar with the Bhagavad Gita As It Is.

With the passage of time and new generation everything will be myth n fairy tell.... it is always the people of many religions believe history n reality of other Religions a myth n fairy tell..
I hope Mr. Pattanaik will not mind if somebody encroaches upon his property and stay there, evicting his family as he is concerned about his SOUL only.
This is like reading science from a 2nd standard student. Devadutt is totally uneducated in the Puranas and Itihasas ( NO I will not call them Mythology) and He does not even know sanskrit the language in which these are written. He has assumed knowedge of everything and reads here and there and gives his analytical opinion, Most unscientific, unscholarly and fraudulent person. The reason such people like Devadutt survive is because the rest of us are more ignorant than him.

Do not seek anything that does not belong to you be it other*s wife or other*s properties.this is the essence of Ramayana and Mahabharatha.It is because of such teachings imbibed in the psyche of people of this country from times immemorial that Bharath continues to he the Spiritual Guru of the world to this day.And if these two principles are followed world would be a place to live in peacefully and happily.
