The ruling party never expected such a protest against the decision of Apex court in sabrimala case. The Travancore Dewaswom board who control most of the Hindu temples in the state was one of the respondent in case before Supreme court along with sthe state government and argued in favour of not allowing women between the age of 10 years to 50 years in temple. However they readily accepted the verdict of Apex court without even thinking to go for a review petition. The protest from the people of their own state and specially women want to respect the earlier traditions has put the government in dilemma. Neither they go strictly to implement the verdict of Apex court nor they can take strict actions against the people of their own state. Inspite of using huge police force to enable women devotees to enter the temple they have miserably failed in helping women devotees of the age between 10 to 50 to the temple. They will have no alternative but to find a solution to this problem. mere allegations against BJP, RSS and others will not work.
