understanding theHindu
by Pinaki Pandit on Sep 03, 2018 11:32 AM

Swami Vivekananda said of theHindu, that it was a socialistic society where no one owned land.
So places not affected by Zamindari, India was different. Like in MH, Gujarat, people possessed land.

So this Brit-left-right view of India based on Aryan-Dravid theory is a problem. They call people living in the forests Adivasis. But the oldest temples in India are 4th century or so. Where was idolWorship before? Is there any mention in Vedas or Bhagavad Gita? Did they find any idols in excavation Indus Valley or anywhere else?

So I think more than independence we need to rid the slavery of our minds.
