The injustice in the society is increasing day by day:

1. Killing animals for food

2. Illegal contacts outside marriage

3. Corruption of money

4. Ego & Jealosy

5. Cutting trees and destroying the nature

If one stop the above injustices especially killing animals for food, these natural calamities will stop for ever.

Partly Man Made Disaster
by s pillai on Aug 16, 2018 05:50 PM  | Hide replies

Indeed rainfall was high but due to unprecedented quarrying, massive construction activities, filling up of catchment areas (ponds, lakes) lead to this disaster. Quarrying contributed to landslides as well as rubber tree plantation also is contributing to massive landslides. Good trees which used to bind the soil were replaced with rubber tress which has weak roots lead to lot of soil erosion which in turn contributed to landslides. Cutting of forests also lead to high amount of discharge of water directly into small rivulets and rivers which contributed to massive flooding. This is partly a man made disaster and they will suffer for it.

Cutting of forests: In TN, government is being blamed for cutting of trees as it causes NO RAIN. Whereas you say it on the reverse.

It is the curse of Lord Ayyappa. The fate was sealed when Supreme Court pronounced their verdict for entry of ladies in the temple between age 6 to 60. Entry of women in the Shabarimala temple is a threat to the Bhahmacharya of Lord Ayyappa.

Beware of Nature's fury

We, exist in the most Educated Era of Humanity....
Humans in the most educated era thought and acted/acting as if they can disregard Nature.....

Our life style has/ is going against nature. We wish Nature to adjust us... which is only utopian dream...... One day, may be next generation will think, to return back to nature and mend their living style again in nature friendly manner.

As per the information passed on by our previous generations there was an equally severe flood in Kerala in 1924 (may be a few of them who witness may still be alive). At that time there was not much of harm happened to the environment/nature, still the flood happened the way it happened now. These are all natures fury and human beings have not control on such situations. Who knows such things happened before as well.
