This information is came from irrevalent source but I personally saw huge Bengali muslims in Nagaland. The ethnicity of this not known. I may be wrong.So dont take this post seriously.
People shifted between India and Pakistan for some time after partition.... Nehru must have put a stop to this by fixing a date for people to criss cross..That is the root cause of illegal immigration and NRC today... Initially the migrants were submissive because of their minority status...Unlike Pak and Bangla where minorities were reduced by kicking them out or converting them Indian Govt for 70 years subjugated itself to please the migrant minorities and you see the result today...ALAS

Why after 1947 the migration had not total happened with Pakistan and India ? The root of all problem is this.1947 partition have not been fully implemented.We would have lived peacefully both India and Pakistan.All muslims and hindus should have been exchanged.
Apart from immigration,the increase in population of Bangladeshi Muslims is their high growth rate.Most of them have a dozen children, whereas indigenous people has two or three children.So their numbers are increasing.

you are right. The population control bill and one child policy should be implemented.
If my memory don't betray me, I understand that India was partition in 1947 for the sole purpose of creating homeland for muslims. All muslims residing in India after that date are overstaying guest.

True...it is mistake of our politicians and due to appeasement that India was not declared Hindustan with common civil code..... and also did not guarded the borders to stop infill iteration.....
