what a great escape. person chose place like constitution club. openly pointed gun on him but trigger got jammed. Attacker ran away from there leaving gun there some intellectuals also telling he fired in air. there were so many people and still he ran away without any resistance. what a great drama.
First of all he is "not a student". He is an anti national using the facilities extended by JNU. Secondly, there can no motive behind shooting him, as congress and communists would be benefited by making him "Martyr". So it is nothing but a farce.

Now opposition parties has realised they have absolutely no scope to stop NDA and Modi from retaining power for the next term. Till2019 Parliament election, they will adopt such cheapgimmucks, will play dirty politics to tarnish image of the present government at center. Why no bullets not hit Uma Khalid and why the destination and why this place was selected when one could have found him roaming at various other places regularely.

This is ploy by Umar khalid himself just to remain in limelight and get public sympathy which he never deserve. How a assailant can miss a shot and also left his revolver behind? No one will believe his story.
Someone chooses constitution club near Parliament High Security area to shoot this gentleman, who otherwise can be picked up in any corner of Delhi or JNU
This is a conspiracy from him to get sympathy from people so that he could again chant the same way as he did earlier. He is a traitor and must be punished and kept behind the bars.

Yes, there is something fishy in the whole episode. Usually, the shooters don't throw back the pistol.
