All said, shown and done, the visit most certainly makes one wonder WHY, and why at this time, in the context of that INFORMAL SUMMIT? Why is the country denied knowledge of what precisely happened in that Summit? Is all this a part of the 2019 election preparation of Modi?
China has spent billions to purchase Pakistan's land and resources and is not likely to give up the project. Though India does not appreciate China's presence close to Indian seas, yet it cannot outrightly stop them. Also it does want the corridor be through PoK. Only alternative is China's rethink on the project; either close it or to have an alternative route. Once such route could be provided by India through Lhasa, Srinagar to Lahore. This will not only delink the problem of PoK but also make this route available to India as well through the corridor. Stragtegic, military,economic, social and political aspect of the project however must be evaluated.
While China wants to have good relations with India, its construction activities in POK are absolutely against the relations intended. They have got all time friend in Pakistan and they are willing to do everything in their favour. They desire that India-Pakistan relations to improve and the differences resolved, their activities in POK are not in the same spirit. While India has asked China to stop these activities, it is now for China to act fast and stop in the internal affairs of India. This activity is going on since some time and China never thought that they are working in our country. China is know for its expanding attitude like the China-Pakistan link road through the POK and the international link through POK. They should shelve the projects as it goes through POK, which is part and parcel of India and we do not like China-Pakistan trade via India. China says that they do not like even an inch of their land to be encroached by any country and at the same their plans to do business with the world via India is double speak. India should not entertain any discussions until they stop their activity in POK and vacate the place forthwith. Regarding hot line, it is not in our interest as we do not do any adventure in the land of China. If they also reciprocate, no such lines are required. It shows that both Pakistan and China do not want us to live happily in our own land. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.
