Water resources management in the countryin general is very poor and if this state of affairs continues, we are going to face major crisis in near future. I don't see any thought being given to plan to harness our vast water resources that are flowing into sea and cause floods in one or other part of the country. This problem could become more serious with the climate change. Government of India and Ministry of Water Resources should wake up and act accordingly.

It is a well known fact that in the same year there will be drought for 3 months and floods for 3 months. We have failed to make use of the water during floods. We must make the best use by linking the rivers and canals.
It is pity that west Bengal have no data on water availability.In fact it is no coincidence that there is neither any data on Air pollution also. Does it smell something /

It is stinking WB. They will find that BJP is behind this data collection. But majority says that this Government is not working in WB. They are busy in Delhi and Assam and Bangladesh.
