Rediff Moderator:why dread publishing comments that are true, though unpalatable? :Actually, what this comment brings out if the ultimate truth that in our Indian democracy, the ultimate and total powers of executive need to be vested in and exercised by the Judiciary only, NOT by the Legislative/PM and especially the current PM because of the miserable stage at which we find ourselves on all fronts. Because the PM is pushing our country in the direction dictated by the RSS and his own deep, unwashable HIndu rashtra hue and indocrination, the nation itself stands divided. It is not only the Hindutva minded Hindu people but a greater majority of mature, moral and true patriotic Hindu people do not support PM`s policies. And they also know that after the PM is no longer the PM, there will be a chaos, internecine fights and lack of coherence in the ruling party. Things need to be done fast, but the President and the Supreme Court can remain mere spectators when this happens.
