Cong. is just creating issue out of nothing
by LiveComment on Aug 07, 2018 12:51 PM  | Hide replies

Some facts about the deal:-
It's a deal between 2 governments. No middlemen involved. During UPA all deals through middlemen only.
UPA never signed contract for 126 aircraft
HAL is not competent to manufacture air crafts of such complexity. Earlier US Ambassador to India also mentioned this during MMRCA contract.
HAL quoted 90 million man hours against the Dassault Aviation's projected 30 million man hours per aircraft.
Egypt paid euro 5.2 billion for 24 jets. Qatar paid euro 6.3 billion. In comparison the ball park figures are cheaper for India.
Offset increased from 30% to 50%.
India doesn't have any say French selecting a local partners. Recently some new channel showed documents to prove that not only Reliance (as falsely claimed by RaGa) but other 30 local Indian companies are involved in this project. So cong. is just creating issue out of nothing.

When Govt. is not revealing the exact official price of Rafael fighter , how to conclude we made a cheaper deal ?
Further why Govt does not make names of all the local firms public other then Reliance defence to know the truth . Is it also secret ??

It is coming upto Rs.1500 crore per aircraft. It is basic understanding even in cars the base model and the fully loaded model will not cost same. This basic GK pappu should have. Also why do you expect the govt. to give out local partners of Dassault Aviation which finalised local partners.

HAL is Govt enterprise , who else is to make it competent /modern . What is basis of selecting Reliance defence who has absolutely no experience in this field ? If HAL is not competent then how Reliance is competent ?

Ravi, don’t praise HAL too much. You just visit that place , see yourself their working and capacity and then give your opinion about their capacity to work in modern era and highly advanced equipments and fighter plane.

Read full facts. They quoted 90 million hours instead of planned 30 million hours. Which organization will allow / pay for that extra hours. Only govt. organizations in India can live with this kind of laid back attitude and effectiveness. The much hyped LCA of India is under development from 1983. That too with old generation fighter aircraft. Why only Reliance name coming out why other local partner names are not used by RaGa ?

aircraft deals
by p devaahayam on Aug 07, 2018 12:19 PM  | Hide replies

The government delays results in getting obsolete technology as the modern war fare and technology advancements, the present contract which was made in 2001 till now it is about 17 years a lot of technology gap would render those aircraft's useless or at least of less importance in the world scenario. The government both the congress and the BJP is eying only to fortify their party and their personal interest rather than the countries interest , that is why the deals are getting delayed even now it is gong to be much more delayed . Our countries' polity need to be changed , if UPA is described as kick backs scandal BJP is much worse than in bargaining for their party's interest but alas the county's interest in in abeyance.

Shall it would be prudent to conclude that hence forth no prices of any defence procurement would be released to public on the plea of defence preparedness / national security as in this case . The countries like Egypt or Qatar who also purchased Rafael are compromising with their National security by making price public ?

Why doesn't Parliament hold the government to account on this issue?".The parliamenet didn't hold the Govt. to account for giving bank loans in the range of Rs.44000 crs.or Rs.55000 crs. to select individuals-itis a moot question as to how many people the country can give such amount as loan ,as everybody or most people have a claim as the wealth distribution has to be equitable , being a socialist country, in India. So Our Parliament has no experience to hold the Govt.to account on the issue. Was one those Rs. 44000 cr taking a loanee a law maker?>

Does it not look like the GOP is not having any issues & tries hard to get some confidential details out ? Many media & writers are also prejudiced - no one can deny it.

So many scams has made public immune & also suddenly wants the govt to clean up every thing ?
