They are also prejudiced and their decisions are only opinion, which we have seen in many cases, where a bench of 5 judges give decisions in a ratio of 3:2, what it means, it is only opinion on law, not consensus. If these 5 judges cannot come to a consensus how they can expect consensus of all people of society in Secular India.

That naked charge is what the BJP govt.is looking an opportunity for, for putting favourable judges in the SC. The present CJI is already perceived as being favourable to PM.

Nothing wrong, judges are also biased, not fair to their jobs, Why common man does not have faith in judicial system of the country. How many judges at lower courts are punished for wrong decisions.

The PM and his aides found the nationwide exposure of his policies and decisions unbearable. Therefore he finally agreed. He knows that the current CJI will get extension of his tenure because he wants to enhance the retirement age of all SC judges. He can always overturn or bend any decisions that may be harmful to PM`s interests. After getting various SC judgments, the govt. can revert to earlier retirement age limits.
