The issue is being politicized for personal gains. I had been to Agartala,Tripura a few years ago and was shocked to see how our border fences were simply lying open. In-spite of the BSF campus present there was nobody guarding our posts at the borders. This clearly shows that actually its our governments who wants to attract illegal immigrants and keep the pot boiling to blame each other and derive political mileage. Be it state or central government they are just not serious about the issue.

True...from very beginning infilitration should have been stopped...shoot at sight order should have been given...... no one could have dared to cross the border....even after 1971 war they should have been sent back....any how it is never late to be mend........Trace out them sent back n guard border.....
Govt. is correct in checking Register to admit only legal Indians. Those illegal immigrants should be thrown out. If RG and Congress, Mamta are having soft corner for them, ask Congress or Mamta to accommodate them in their own houses or land owned by them with proper registration by Govt, Authorities. India is already having problem of heavy population , why we need outsiders to add to our agonies.
Dec-2017-50% popualtion as Bangladeshi. July-2018 - 15% population as Bangladeshi Dec-2018 - 5% population Bangladeshi Many-2019- No Bangladeshi in Assam.All is well.

Do you disagree that there are a staggering nos. of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Bengal as well as in India? Already we are second most populous country in the world and projected to become the most populated one , overtaking China by 2030. Should we not, therefore, be concerned about the huge nos. of illegal immigrants in our country and try to find a solution?

If the Govt. has to accept illegal acts done in India by Foreign Bangkladeshi Refugees by entering India itself ,as some suggest, do they also concur with that Indians who do or commit illegal acts also get that facility of not getting punished for their illegal act.R.PONNAMBALAM
It is high time we mild-natured Bengalees should wake up from Rasogolla & Rabindrasngeet and face reality of illegal immigrants.Today every conceivable crime whether rape,Caracas scandal,bomb making,illegal arms etc. etc.making all from them.At this rate time is not very far when Bengalees here have to look again for neighboring states.
For her it is not only Dharamshala but full charity to all who have come from Bangladesh, 20% population majority of them labour force is from Bangladesh, solid vote bank of Mamta, she is most effected. Actually whole country should have register, we get many from Sri Lanka,Burma, Nepal and other adjoining nations. Modi govt. at least started the distinction.
