Who is she to pardon?
by SREENIVAS on Apr 23, 2018 06:23 PM

Does she think this is a banana republic? this type of pardon is admissible only in Islamic countries. If she feels so much let her move to the court, where the court is sure to dismiss her petition

Good Behaviour
by sanjeev shrivastava on Apr 23, 2018 04:57 PM

What good behaviour? He came our on parole to tend to very sick mother Mother was found in a election rally and dear Manu was involved in a drunken brawl in a bar in Delhi. The only thing in his favour is that all murderers belonging to political parties are now free people.

Don't show forgiveness to unforgivable crime

Only the honourable President or a superior court may reduce or pardon the punishment, NOT an individual, NOT EVEN the victims parents or relatives.

Forgiving Jessika`s killer etc.
by daniel thorat on Apr 23, 2018 03:31 PM

The apparent magnanimity is improper. Jessica has lost her life in her youth, and, alas, her own sister probably did not miss her and has forgotten her completely. Forgiving such inhuman killers needs to be viewed seriously and punished as well, because that softens the deterrence of the punishment. Actually, life for life must be the strictest rule and law and the "rarest of rare" formula created out of a luxurious, academic consideration of he judiciary must be scrapped forthwith.

I forgive Jessica's killer

It is the court which gave the punishment according to the crime. There are many languishing in jail and doing good work. Do you think if Sonia forgive killers of Rajiv, the killers are to be released ?
