by MS Vasan on Apr 21, 2018 02:50 PM

These lawyers and parties who are not satisfied with supreme court order are probably under the impression, they always have the italian court or international court of justice to go to..
Good luck to all the no-good pseduo leaders..

This designed is always nurtured from congess party & Gandhi family. Be careful.

It is ironical that same Prashant Bhushan was loved by everyone during those days of Anna's revolution. He played an important role along with Kejri to bring BJP in power. But it seems that everybody hates him.
It is also sad to see this Indian Media.
No channel (except one) was covering Judge Loya prior yesterday. Now when the SC decision has come in favour of BJP, every channel is discussing Judge Loya

Is that mr Prashant Bhuasha, in black coat, black gown; in searing heat of delhi, in summer months? Why? Is that a British Custom, a British Attire? Why lawyers can not wear Dhoti-Kurta-Jacket-Pyjama? Like politicians do? Is judiciary in Indian environment? Why no activist lawyer is fighting for reforms? Is it because it doesn't pay?

In socialistic countries the judges are addressed as "Citizen Judge", not "My Lord".
In U.K the judges have to sit on a sheep skin laid on the seat. This custom is discontinued due to the discomfort caused.
In UK judges wear wigs, which is not the case in India.(Again due to discomfort). In order to wear a wig comfortably, the judge has to get his own head shaved. When the absurdity was realised the judges decided to abandon the wigs. But the barbers went on strike against the decision of their Lordships to wear their own hair.
So, changes are slow and haphazard. In India time has come to throw away the black robes and white collars.

Rahul's involvement
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Apr 20, 2018 07:08 AM

How is Rahul involved at all ? The PIL filers were senior independent lawyers who have filed many petit ions against Congress interests earlier. We can't imagine that they would conspire with Rahul on this case. Maybe they were wrong this time but that is not the point. The Congress for its part must accept the SC verdict with grace and stop commenting on this.

Contempt
by niladri mohanty on Apr 20, 2018 07:08 AM  | Hide replies

The Hon. Supreme Court was very kind in not slapping the contempt of court on these political leaders who have made the court a play ground. When Randeep Surjewalla says those in power agree that the death of Judge Loya was natural why they are reluctant to have a separate inquiry. Where is the need when there is no doubt about the death? Surjewalla thinks that every one is an idiot. The press conference he held yesterday was full of fulmination and deserves to be tried for contempt of the highest court in the country.

The political leaders were not involved. The PIL filers were senior lawyers who are quite independent of politics. In fact in the past BHushan has filed many PILs against COngress interests.
