It runs against the spirit of equality that modern democracies are supposed to bring about for all citizens.
But such notions of equality are damaged most by big time thieves (crony capitalists such as the Ambanis and Adanis and Agarwals, etc) in modern India !
The damage done to commoners by caste based reservations is far less in magnitude !
Jean Dreze, the celebrated development economist has remarked : A handful of crony capitalists loot immensely more public wealth in India each year than what is stolen by 4 crore government servants in the form of bribes, commission and other forms of corruption !
Looking at how the current govt has nonchalantly given Rs 2.11 lakh crores from money paid as taxes by the people to public sector banks for recapitalization to partly offset the huge Rs 6 lakh crores plus that such crony capitalists have stolen (misleadingly termed NPAs), his words ring so true !
It is high time that our honored integral component of Vedic society, the SC/ST people should sit back and analyze strength weakness and threat and opportunities about the reservation policy of the Government which should have come to end according to founding fathers of our Constitution for 10yrs. Every one knows that the policy has done lot of good to people covered under the classified ca untouchable castes or people from tribal areas, yet it is time to reconsider its evolution to an improved levels. It has to be done by SC/ ST and minorities leaders. A boy of scheduled cast even after becoming a chief secretary or judge of the Supreme Court or President of India still remains a scheduled caste and his children also carry the stigma associated with the classification of schedule cast. The inherent disease of caste-ism still gets perpetuated when the SC/ST person achieves social equality in society. The bad label continues for generations. a sc/st professor who may be excellent teacher and ediucationist and who has evolve to a level of Suvarna Brahmin continues to be kniwn as untouchable which is unacceptable for success of any social upliftment program.
Modi has failed. None of his promises are fulfilled. India regressing under Modi rule. 1. Failed to bring back black money – instead allowed rich to loot public money and flee. 2. Failed to deposit 15 lakhs rupees – proving to be a BIG JHUMLA 3. Failed to create jobs – turns out to be a bluff and unable to provide data 4. Own colleagues involve into rapes – silent even while victims are dying 5. Orchestrated killings in the name of religion – tacitly supporting fringe elements 6. Abusing, lynching and killing Harijans – hellbent on suppressing them 4. Hundreds dying along the borders, by communal killings and demonetization – modi has no sense of accountability.

It is extremely important to see what he has done, rather than what he has not done. When Dalits, and Minorities are tortured, beaten and killed by Sangh Parivar people, he kept silent, thereby supporting those acts.Having no one in the party or RSS (i.e.the same thing !)to challenge him on any issue,he did things like a Don Quixote or Tughlak, and when over 100 human lives were lost in DeMon generated bank/ARM queues, not a word of sympathy from him. Kashmir is Muslim majority region and there he sent Ram Mohan, the hardcore RSS leader, in itself a show of threat and hardened approach. He put Yogi CM,who flaunts his fierce anti-minority attitude, causing further unrest and fear in the country. He promoted Ram Deo and Patanjali and worked actively to drive out the highly advanced modern medicine system (allopathy) giving all the publicity and preference to Ayurveda. He has no answer for the question about why the bullet train for his home State, Gujarat? He encouraged and supported increasing arrogance in all govt.authorities and leaders. These are just a few things, which have precipitated into the present atmosphere in the country.

The entire focus was to build up a superhuman, nationalist,patriot image of PM, simultaneously ravishing the image of all the great leaders and other governments who have truly worked for and developed India from 1947.At the same time, avoiding even a whisper of other informations which cast a dark shadow on him.
