Politicians have coined the word dalit to spread hate among masses by Mayawati and few others, now backed by congress who had been main culprit to divide India on caste basis. Those who are paying Income Tax are also dalits, what a joke with our democracy, totally prejudiced approach, against all humanity, but we are to bear it, if we want to live in this country. Every upper class feel insulted whereas everyone has sympathy with all dalits who are really needy and deprived. Charity is in Indians blood.

why not? for centuries dalits bc obc lower caste hindus corpses have rotted...let the opposite happen now..they should get justice....

You sound as if a Brahmin (Vaidya) has had a BC caste certificate.
Some animals are more equal in our society. Dalits, no doubt are a deprived and discriminated lot. There is fear in their minds and more often than not their cry is not heard by the authorities. Unless and until the dalits are given their rightful place in the society, peace and prosperity could only be a distant dream

It is true that rich( not general category) often harrass,usurp poor's ( not dalit) right which is not good and needs to be corrected but that does not mean that wicked politicians and their third grade supporters can damage the social fabric,endanger the lives of common men.
They must understand that playing with fire never benefits anybody. it only burns or kills but never soothes,never comforts.

these people who have been oppressed and exploited for centuries have a right to every help they can get so that they can rise...if dr ambedkar was for reservations then it means it has some sense logic and wisdom...being born in lower hindu caste family he knows first hand what hardships and injustices they suffer...if there was no such thing like reservation or shahu maharaj there would have no dr ambedkar...and if we refuse them reservation or some shahu maharaj there will never be another dr ambedkar....
we have to do penance for the sins of our ancestors and give them every help to bring them in the mainstream...we are a socialist country not a capitalist country...
it is not right that only a particular class gets many chances to rise in life and the deprived classes get very few chances/opportunities...

What about Ramvilas paswan ..why would he require reservation,shount be that passed on to some one who needs it.Caste based politics is unacceptable..if it was for poor from across the society I would have supported it.. Ashamed of being a citizen where there is caste based reservation and relegion based politics.
Today Indian peoples needs to change their mind set, every Indian is become equal, every one has rights to raise their voice, since many year back upper cast people treated lower cast peoples as animal, still we are thinking the lower cast peoples are "achhut". on one side we are saying India becomes worlds powerful country and other side we are still fighting on cast based system......voice of poor/Dalits also can be notice by Government/Police etc.
