Fake news
by Sameer Wagle on Apr 03, 2018 11:47 AM

The media have brought this upon themselves by shooting off their mouths without any responsibility and to the extent by trying to shape opinions of people. The Indian media should be ashamed that it is ranked second from the bottom in terms of reliability and responsible reporting.

A right move to curb speculative media
by Navneet Bhatnagar on Apr 03, 2018 11:28 AM

The Government has moved in the right direction by taking steps to curb the menace of fake news. Little do some of the media persons realize that that they are actually spreading rumours by announcing un-substantiated news items and calling them " from reliable sources". When general public can be booked for rumour mongering, why can not these press wallahs? Such a step is bound to bring some sense of responsibility among these media personnel else we shall soon be having more of Kejriwaal apology seeking news personnel among us.
