is another name of rumours.
and person engaged in rumour mongering must have no right to remain Journalist. One or two mistakes are ok with minor punishment but it should not be tolerated beyond that.
After all it is a question of Accountability.
One must be held responsible for his news.
there are some Journalists they used to apply their skills of making false stories and earn money. Some of them have become Millionire by spreading false stories.

They have created nuisance, they are extortionist too in public life. Govt. must frame disciplinary code, what to show on national, State and local channels, since media is pro political parties, they forget this aspect, local news are highlighted as national news maligning the govt. or opposition parties. Licence of such channels must be cancelled, besides fake news.

The concerned media persons should be imprisoned for propagating misinformation. After all , society can become chaotic if these media scum bags go on spreading rumors , trivia and trash like this.

This law also should be extended to dime a dozen COMMENTATORS and BOGUS ANALYSTS who churn out bags of trash in the name of analysis.
