South India is always a BJP mukth state.What ever the chance given in Karnataka was misused by their natakas.No othe state can empower BJP.Now also Karnatka people are in mood to gove a chance to BJP any more.May be Congress will form government with support fro JD (S),which will play a spoilt sport for BJP and Congress.Gowda will have a last laugh.It is a fct that JD(S) cannot win on its own to form governemt.The corollory is that BJP will benifit from weak opposition at the Center and Congree will win in Karnataka with weak opposition like BJP.That is the beauty of it.

Its difficult for BJP to gain foothold in South so soon especially Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra just because of the fact that apart from rest of the country, in South there are other alternative Parties than Congress who are also having a strong support from the people of these States and compared to the rest of the country, Congress or any other party cannot take the people of the state as granted, may be due to the political awareness of even the most illiterate people of the state and better social fabric prevailing in the society and then ofcourse literacy rate. Though Modi has tried to charm the people over there, BJP has always been considered to be a North Indian party by the South and mainly a communal one. And with Muslims and Christians predominant among the voters, it is difficult that they vote for BJP even though quite a lot of percentage of people in South likes him and appreciates him for his being uncorrupted, development oriented etc. Modi or BJP has not been able to talk or give a strong belief of providing solution and relief in respect to local issues in South. Unless and until BJP keeps involved in trying to solve local issues, getting votes in South is really difficult.

The most brazen ones first.
1. Gautam Adani is embroiled in a massive tax evasion scam using the P note mode of investment to round trip his profits without paying corporate tax. The man has made several P note investments. But the ED caught him red handed in one case with all incriminating docs for having over invoiced the value of power equipment he purchased from Chinese and Korean firms by Rs 5468 crores. (This much in just one P note) !
The ED filed a case before the SIT against black money headed by Justice Shah (retd from the Supreme court).
In response, the Modi govt transferred out the 3 ED officers who filed the case before the CAT decreed tenure of 3 years and without a cabinet note (read and understand why all these details are important).
In the place of those 3 *inflexible* ED officers who filed the case, the Modi govt brought in 3 hand picked officers.
And these 3 officers have been trying hard to subvert the case (the damaging evidences are already filed before the SIT and they cannot be withdrawn) by securing 21 adjournments so far in the last 3 years !
In the meantime, the IT dept tried equally hard to browbeat the 3 officers who filed the case by launching a false case of *wealth disproportionate to known sour es of income* against them. After 4 months of very intensive searches and questioning the officers, the IT dept quietly dropped the case and disappeared from the scene.
