In India value of Human Life is very low.Otherwise condition of JAILS would not be like this. Prisoners also have right to be treated as humans not like animals or worst than animals. We boast of making so much prgress on many fronts? What is this? The state of Prisons should also change with times and treat prisnors in decent way. MR.P.M.DO THE NEEDFUL.

The living conditions in many places are worse than jail, even then no one would compromise their liberty !
There is no sensitivity to the dignity of a life, human or animal. Just see the lynch mob behavior when someone commits an offence. You would then think the police lockup and jail is a protection from such mobs !
What is needed is the sensitization of the society, which needs a Mahatma Gandhi. I do wish Narendra Modi takes that role, since I believe he believes and understand Gandhi now and has a wide acceptance. But no one trusts people around him. Narendra Modi can leave the government work to politicians like Amit Shah, Sushma Swaraj and any half-baked economist.

Felt weeping from inside. Who will amend these laws which equates hardcore criminals with that of not so in-human crimes like the one did by John\'s agent. For such in-human Jails certainly deserves reforms like the ones done by Kiran Bedi.
