Sasidharan, the suit was gifted to the PM by his well wishers and the same suit was sold for crores of rupees and the proceed went to Prime minister Fund for the welfare of the people of this country. Don't expose your lack of knowledge and intelligence by writing only nonsense.

why do you call it as gifting...it is basic responsibility of PM or any politician or govt officer to ensure development. Varanasi has such poor infrastructure that PM should be ashamed and accept that it lags behind and he will try to help more. It is not a favor on varanasi that he is doing. It is his basic responsibility.
Keep taxing middle class....and distribute freebies to win votes....this is what was done earlier and this is what you are doing... nothing new...for people like me who are been taxed for almost everything...

You forgot that tax free limit was increased from 180,000 to 250,000 and additional 80C tax free investments of 1.5 lakhs and 50k under NPS? Now if you invest wisely no income tax upto income of 4.8 lakhs! Plus he reduced the lowest slab from 10% to 5%. Yet keep crying..

dont forget.when BJP was in opposition they want to increase IT exemption limit to 5 lakhs.but what happened? They are only preachers and do nothing. More talk less work

Corporates are not dumbos. If the govt. reduces taxes, then they reduce pay as well. Hope you guys remember. When govt introduced tax on fringe benefits, these corporates stopped giving fringe benefits. Because they are the people who benefit most - not the employees. Govt told that the Tax benefits for importing laptops is applicable as per the IT SEZ rules then these corporates stopped employees working from different locations. Most of the IT MNCs in India took advantage of recession and they stopped providing free food and other facilities. Organizations like IBM provides only free drinking water.
