by R ponnabalam on Sep 23, 2017 09:14 PM

Congress first give information on the achievement under the Local Area Development Scheme. How much money had been spent and what development had been achieved? What have you done for 60 yrs. to see that even students from daily wage earner-house holds can also educate themselves to qualify for IAS,IFS etc. Else you are keeping these posts reserved for the Elite class, How much improvement you had brought about in the educational system. When Hindi cannot be had for the constitution why were you siphoning money or wasting money on Hindi?

Congress wake up.India needs a strong opposition party
by R ponnabalam on Sep 23, 2017 08:52 PM

Every country needs a solid opposition party;we do not have it. Cong. should not feel shy of it's past mistakes. Grave mistakes they are . But Should find corrective roads rather than repeating" "tolearnce" for all wrong doings. All mistakes grow up because of tolerance for mistakes Look beyond caste and Religion based politics; By blaming& flogging the wrong horse you stand to loose Every man for himself and all is for pelf .caste Religions come later. If pocket can get filled man looks for it .Corner the Govt. on the development front.Stop giving alibis and supporting to unrecovered bank loans 8LAKH CRORES that works out something like Rs.5658 contribution by every poor man to the rich man's kitty:abominable economic inequality. The Communist Party of proletarians .How is that it never questioned the 8 lakh corere unrecovered loans in Parliament or in Parliament committees and that 12 corporates getting more than Rs.5000 crores. Is it privatising industry or privatising India's wealth R.PONNAMBALAM

The Indian economy
by piri on Sep 23, 2017 07:04 PM  | Hide replies

saw 4 decades of an all pervading but relatively low volume corruption in government on the back of the laid back form of socialism that Nehru had ushered in at the time of independence.

But Rajiv Gandhis first acts at liberalizing the Indian economy paved the way quickly to the opening up of the floodgates of big time corruption and big time loot of public wealth by private corporates.

Liberalisation and structural reform were like tools in the hands of the wrong men since the late 1980s !

For the commoners, it was like a jump from the frying pan into the fire !

And with the arrival of the Narendra Modi dispensation, the loot of public wealth turned virulently brazen. And his dispensation has a tool that the Congress did not have - a very well run propaganda machinery operated by a huge network of spin doctors that has remained successful so far in presenting such loot of public wealth by corporates as desirable for the development of the country !

uneducated nehru clan is the main cause of india's distress. these slaves of nehrukhandaan will never give credit to persons outside the family. it was pv narasimha rao who must be credited for bringing in the market economy , not the uneducated rajiv gandhi.

Highly educated Modi(?)has imposed self made crises like demonetisation & GST centric disruption to yield 5.7 % GDP growth against av. 8% growth during UPA 10 years from 2004 2014. In spite of more than half the crude oil prices to day in internal market as compared to 2014, the retail petrol & diesel prices are still the same as in 2014 . Thanks to 9 times hike in excise duty in last 14 months still economy remains in shambles .Vote winning populist schemes can not get development . Self righteousness & arrogance prevented the rulers from acknowledging the problem , let alone seek expert advice.
Hats off to the wisdom of great Indian people who constantly & consistently rejected BJP time & again

40% wastage is only in Mangoes. ( Because we toss them up ). It is 12% for Bananas ( because it is the only fruit which ripe from outside ),. 8% wastage in grains ( because of rats ). Can you explain what Atal Behari Vajpai Govt did to reduce the wastage and Narendra Modi did ?
