Well Said Mr Gupta

Once you set up a tweet-storm of vilification, labelling individuals anti-nationals, traitors, blasphemous, and foreign agents, you are creating enough justification for somebody with a gun to kill, or for a mob to lynch,' warns Shekhar Gupta.

What I do not like in most of the columnist is the double standards. They cry when a particular community is targeted. But remain silent when another community is the victim of similar situation. How many have cried when Kashmiri Pandits were brutally killed, drove out of Kashmir? When I agree all killings (Right by Left, Left be Right), it is also responsibility of every sensible columnist to condemn every wrong incident. Otherwise, the killings will continue.

Shekhar Gupta is bias and hypocrat. He is depressed as the present government is not giving him any undue importance which he don't deserve.

Rediff should interview the people who has filed defamation case against Guru Lankesh and publish. They too have a right of speech, right to have opinion etc.. just count the number of people who filed case you will know the quality of journalism.
