Railways Mishap Nightmares
by zo khual on Sep 08, 2017 10:20 AM

Now, the status quo is not possible in Railways anymore. Emergency or even Martial Law should be declared on Railways. During that time, as much as possible privatisation of several services should be done. At the same time, the present unworkable Railways organisation must be dismantled and split into a number of corporation with participation of private parties. It must be kept in mind that 1200 million citizens are more important than the useless less than 1 million Railways present employees

Derailment Nightmare

There have been dozens of derailments/train accidents under the Modi Govt. The attention of the Govt is to mint money by looting the passengers in the name of amenities. Modi creates impressions but does not effect impacts for the public. The public can be easily taken for a ride by charming expressions like 'Ye dil mange more' or 'achhe din aanewale hein.'

The frequency is alarming.

A forensic audit of the operational aspects of the rel network needs to be carried out on a top priority basis particularly when the bullet is in the air.

are our tracks over worked and little maintence taking place. just increasing speed will not help. proper maintenance too is required.
with one of the largest work force such accidents are not worth being mentioned.
may be its time they are privatized

No need to hand it over to private companies. Recall LalluPrasadji and he will do the needful as he did when he was Rail Mantri.
