Demonetisation - historical blunder
by B B Sharma on Sep 18, 2017 10:12 AM

It was the biggest man made crises in recent times which cost the nation Rs 3.00 lakh crores in shape of about 2 % slump in GDP, printing cost of new currency , logistics & modification of 2 lakh ATM`s across the country . Apart from this mammoth loss in revenue , many people lost their lives , their jobs & enormous loss of working hours standing in queues . Black money which was called parallel economy was converted into white . Every word of Dr Manmohan Singh prognosis proved true. County owe an apology from the Mr Modi( As the decision was his personal ) taken without a thought & proper advice from the experts.

If one reads the columns of rediff then it would seem that majority of Indians are philosophers, economists, foreign policy experts, etc. Public have such short memory that they are willing to hand over this country back to those bunch of looters called UPA. And for what? Because a man is sincerely trying his best to rectify the decades of wrong done to India. His attempts may not be completely successful but I have no reasons to doubt his intentions. I need much more than complaints of he is travelling abroad too much (not for vacation), he is worsening relation with China, demo was not successful, etc. I see success of demo in real estate deals. In Chennai I have come across at least 6 people holding black money who are unable to finalize land deal because sellers are refusing to accept a huge portion of money in black. That is where I see success

Rediff not publishing
by KARAN on Sep 05, 2017 03:26 PM

I find any article questioning arun jaitley for not pursuing cases against Sonia which was one of the main planks on which BJP rode to power,is not getting published. While we kniw refiff is anti hindu, pro sonia estaliblishment, when rediff took arun jaitley into their strude,is it because he is the saviour of sonia and also the correct man was Dr.Swamy which corrupt delhi bjp and congressmen(by supporting arun jaitley) have managed to keep away from the ministry.

Demonatisation
by SURENDRA FLORA on Sep 05, 2017 10:33 AM  | Hide replies

It was blunt, foolish mistake.
Modi is prime minister not Govt. Parliament is Govt.
AnY decision for public can be declared only it becomes law.
Demonetization was declared without even being discussion in parliament.
Hence the dictatorial decision of demonetisation taken by Mr Modi is purely his personal and nt of Prime Minister of India,
Thus it is Modi must take the brunt of failure.
All the statements he spoke for convincing Demo....
Must be for given as he has habit of bluffing and lying to public without understanding its after effects.
He has taken for granted that he is PM for ever
