Some discretion
by Radhakrishnan on Sep 05, 2017 06:31 AM

Rediff would do well to exercise some discretion while publishing comments by people who have more of an agenda but less of convincing arguments. If the purpose is a healthy discussion, it is not being achieved.

After braying out
by piri on Sep 05, 2017 12:57 AM  | Hide replies

at the top of his grating voice that commoners should burn him alive if he does not net a big quantum of black money in the country in the 50 days of demonetization, the komaaaaali fell silent about it all and began braying out about other topics in the hope that his fans and other commoners would forget about his earlier brayings !

Now, Mr Komaaaaali, surely you know that burning people alive comes easily to your fan boys (wherever they feel they can easily overpower their victims), not to your critiques !

We dont expect to hear you admit that you erred hugely with demonetization. But the trouble is that your eyes and ears are always only on the ballot box even while governing such a vast and diverse nation.

While you have proved over and over again that you are utterly incompetent for the job you are in, it is also a marvel to see how you have almost perfected the art of fooling the always-easy-to-fool north Indian commoners with your theatrics and grating voice ! You have gone a step or two further ahead of even Indira Gandhi (she of the *garibi hatao* and *food, clothes, shelter* tactics) !

demonetisation
by sarma kslks on Sep 04, 2017 10:57 PM  | Hide replies

The write up looks to be penned by an anti-BJP person. He takes the statements of those who were protesting the move of Government ignoring the position that nearly more than 99% of the hoarded cash came to the Banking sector.
This itself is a positive effect as that money was running a parallel economy and used to resort to corruption.
With all the subsequent acts, all transactions are made transparent and the use of cash is made minimal.
Any initiative yields result over a period of time.
Those who were against this government's decision are doing it as an opposition i.e., blind to the realistic situation.
It is sad that a person like MMS who was PM for 10 long years leading the country to disaster and disrepute with a record number of scams leaving no stone unturned. His comments are coloured and biased and also sound like tutored.
