She might have been born a Tamil but her impact on TN is zero if not negative! Hence her elevation cannot be a signal to TN. She is married to an Andhra and elected from Karnataka and hence she has to side with either of these States in the myriad conflicts between thee States and TN.

Change the name of Central Railway (Suburban) to Crippled Railway. Thats how bad it is. I am travelling in Central Railway for the past 45 years and the quality of the service has remain unchanged. The central railway authorities have taken the passengers for granted . Repeated delays, cancellations, improper services you name it. Why more 15 car rakes are not introduced in the central railway. Central Railway claims that their punctuality is 97 % which is wrong, I feel that the timings are fudged. In fact the punctuality is not more that 25 %. They have 365 excuses for 365 days
If you can improve the suburban local services we all shall be thankful
Also there should be seperate enclosures for passenger travelling on 1st class suburban locals. Passengers without tickets or with second class tickets board the first class compartment . Then why should ist class passengers pay 6 or 7 times the cost of second class tickets
I have been travelling to chennai from mumbai for the last 51 years and there have been only three trains to chennai for the last 5 decades . Why dont you increase the number of trains to chennai/kerala/bangalore/hyderabad etc. Maximum trains run to north india leaving the people in the southern region deprived.
Also why no shatabdi like trains run from Mumbai to chennai/bangalore/kerala/hyderabad.

Sir, The railway track, traffic control and signalling infrastructure have long become overloaded with schedules. Moreover, a majority of the tracks have been in service way beyond their standard life.
Maintenance and repair have also not kept pace with the sheer number of additional schedules added every year.
And the Railways has long been struggling for additional land acquisition in innumerable pockets.
Even critically needed upgradation of safety infra has not been happening fast enough.
The major reason why matters remain so pathetic is the lack of resources. Budget allocations have always been much less than what the Railway board has been demanding.
And to compound matters, entrenched corruption, nepotism, political interference in administration and incompetent management have always plagued the department.
This kalia jobless, useless, stinking komaaaaaaaaaali has only activitiy of writing long and useless comments repeatedly on rediff as it is free of cost. This kalia komaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaali has habit of continuing his never ending kraaaa......kraaa... kraaaaaaa.......against Modi, BJP, RSS due to depression, frustration , jealousy ever since they came to power . This particular minister said `I don't know where file is in Central Government' wrt NEET exemption file from Tamilnadu. Then she declared that Central Government will facilitate one year exemption from NEET for one year, if TN comes with initiative. But result everyone knows. TN people smells Walk the talk is not taking place. Only time will tell, future of TN.

Her performance as a commerce minister is not that great.To be a spokesperson is different. Waite and see for her performance. The other day an article said that she goes through critical files and presents the content to PM Modi in one or two paragraphs.So there is a paucity of talent in BJP and PM Modi experiments with available talent.
