For many years the Congress was in power. At that time guys like this Shetti, gave them a long rope , never questioned. I want a honest answer from him & all people, do youll really think, all the countries ills generated over 60 years plus would be wiped out, can be wiped out in 3 yrs/ 5yrs time . If the govt acts in support of one part, the other part starts agitating. When 2 parts are satisfied, then the next 3/4 parts start agitating to counter the intial 2 parts. This is how the country is functioning. The people of this nation are so habituated to short cuts, corruption, that nobody wants to go through the grind to let a balanced growth for everyone. I want growth at the cost of my neighbour. This is the situation playing out in the country . And this is fuelled more by distraught politicians, who feel they will be knocked out for ever by this govt. When will people realise the harm they are causing themselves.

You raise MSP, middle class non-farm workers say Inflation is high. Farming is unproductive. Farm labour is non productive. Farming in general does not pay you enough to survive. Only way is to industrialise and create as many industrial jobs as you can. Again you need capitalists but then jibes start...suit boot ki Sarkar. Balanced growth is difficult with the population we have and these electoral pressure groups will drown this nation.
I like Mr Modi. The only problem is that he does not understand anything not jut Rural requirements? No one can understand;what he says and what he means and what he does?There is an eternal fear of some boomerang from him at anytime?

The article is an eye opener & pen picture the poor plight of the farmers .BJP manifesto promised 50 % increase over MSP to farmers but denied the same in Supreme Court. In last 4 years , agriculture imports have increased 5 times from Rs 28000cr to 1,40,000 crores , that result in huge losses for farmers& end up getting trapped under debt. Instead of defending something indefensible , Govt. must rethink its priorities & work for an inclusive growth model , otherwise 2019 is not far away.
I am a great supporter of Modi though I am not a BJP member. But now I am getting a sense of feeling that , He will not get a chance to comeback again in 2019 though I ardently wish to. We can understand 1 or 2 years will take to stabilise and fix the mess created by earlier congress Govt. I think NDA needed to focus more on matters of Farmers, matters like Death of Innocent childs esp in UP and neighbouring states. I wonder what Baba Ram Dev does with his money which he is minting. If Govt cannot afford to set up good hospitals and facilities why cant they take the help of such corepatis

Famers dont pay electricity at our rates, dont pay for water at our rates, will produce crops what suits them & what brings in more money ( it is agreed , as it is their choice ) . They dont pay income tax. They avail of loans from banks , but cant repay it ( or wont repay it ) , then it is waived off. After getting so many privileges , they want all of a sudden 1.5 times remuneration for their products, based on their production costs . Do they want the nation to become a banana republic , by only taking up their issues .

Kindly take on lease 10 acres of land and do farming for 5 years or so.You will know their plight?It is easy to sit in a chair in the city and criticize them.

It is similarly easy to lap up Tax Payers' Money by various subsidies, freebies and then shed crocodile tears in the name of being farmer.
No Muslim man will vote for NM. No farmer will vote for NM. No Dalit will vote for NM. No Scientist will vote for NM. If he still wins we can only conclude that the elections are a farce.
