is there any protocol that the ministers should be given a free travel corridor and not stop in the traffic. is it because they are scred to be gehroed. I think they must follow the traffic and also stop at red lights.
If any ministers want to reach any destination in a hurry, then allow them to use helicopter to commute between places. Why to break speed limits and breach the rules. We do not have the kind of good roads for speeding.
Any minister in India is a public representative representing overwhelmingly poor people. After appointed as Minister, they move with cavalcade to show their high position misusing public money and huge number of security personnel. Their movement hindrances general public's free movement causing inconvenience. The Central and State Governments and especially the BJP that boasts about Indian culture, should ban this practice of pomp and gorgeousness.
It was a good and noble act on the part of the UP CM to order a compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs to the Baby's family. But the chief minister's directtion to the DGP to submit a detailed report and initiate strict action against those responsible for the incident is just a waste of public money. The enquiry will take months and years to complete.
