PC resignation talk implies MMS should have done
by SRINIVASAN IYENGAR on Oct 29, 2017 04:47 PM

Does PC when he states that as FM he was ordered to Demonitisation of INR he would have resigned, it implies that MMS should have resigned as PM as he was forced to accept the orders of high command for supporting all scams. PC probably felt that he could have been a better PM than MMS if MMS had resigned. Had PC become PM he would have sold the country & stashed his money abroad like his High Command. He would have ensured to be a member of Rajya Sabha like MMS as he was well aware he cannot win any elections in TN. As it is the last election of 2009 won by him was dubious & the losers appeal in HC is still pending as PC’s lawyers have been taking dates after dates to postpone the final judgement. If PC loses in HC all decisions taken by him as FM & HM may have to be annulled. Hope early action is taken to put PC & his son behind bars.

P S SHAH
Chidambaram
by P S SHAH on Oct 29, 2017 11:37 AM

Do this P Chidambaram has any capacity to win even Gram Panchayat to prove Municipal election n his own ? When Jayalalitha was alive, this man had no guts to contest any election from Tamilnadu knowing very well that madam Jayalalitha will see that not only he lost the election but his deposit too. His son contested election for parliament last time and couldn't even save his deposits. P Chidambaram has all the time worked as a slave of Congress high command and now he is giving such statements when out of power , to please his high command.

Demonetization by PM
by Anil Prasad on Oct 29, 2017 07:58 AM  | Hide replies

The PM while extolling the attributes and justifying the necessity of demonization had compared himself to the former PM Mrs Indira Gandhi and had scoffed at her inability to take the bold decision when she was offered the same opportunity in the early 70s. Little is he aware about the then fledgling Indian economy, struggling to emerge out of the onslaught of wars and famines.
His inability to gauge the present economic condition and the impact of demonetization is obvious by the turn of the events. However, his desire to adopt short cut to reach the top echelon among the indian leaders is apparent and was perhaps the only objective of the present PM. The present fiasco manifests the failures of bureaucrats, economic advisers and RBI in particular to gauge the catastrophic consequences of such frivolous decision only to satisfy personal ego of PM. Impoverished in knowledge and experience of such economic decision, the PM was influenced by the promoters of the concept of demonetization…. Who were they?.... Obviously not the RBI…

Vidyut Shenoy
PC - the magical economics expert
by Vidyut Shenoy on Oct 29, 2017 07:34 AM

Of course he would. It would immediately show up the black money he was hoarding, in his family accounts.
These are typical rants of a gutless, clueless moron who masqueraded as an economics expert. He could not balance his home budget if asked.

PC, a transactions specialist with a penchant for cheating big time. He cheated to get into parliament, he cheated while he was there and is lying now to save his skin.
He should explain to India how he dismantled a smoothly running economy and destroyed it in 10 years while promising the moon.
He deserves the darkest room in Tihar or a more sinister spot, so that he can appreciate the value of light.

Resignation
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Oct 29, 2017 07:16 AM

Resignation as a last resort is a viable option for a Union MInister and if PC had ( hypothetically) resigned, this would have been the right step.
We can also regret that MMS did not resign as PM when compelled to defend the tricks played by A Raja with telecom spectrum allocations, changing bid closing dates etc.

DeMo and Chidamabaram
by Pushpakaran Thiyadi on Oct 29, 2017 06:08 AM

Mr.Chidamabaram continues to talk shamelessly about economy and India's affairs. He and his party must explain why they released high value notes more than low value notes as required under normal economic standards. He has helped to create black economy easily by doing so.He continued to be FM when many scams were taking place ,True to his image,he ccontinued to be HM,when many terrorists were let free and created a euphoria that terrorists are in India itself. He must have resigned the party and the position then there ,saying terrorists and the corrupts are in congress party.
Keeping a closed redulated economy for years under the Congress,India continued to be snake charmers and bullock carts land well below many small countries.Unfortunate,Mr.chidamabaram!
