I said if BJP carries Gujarat, it will have cakewalk in 2019 as it would mean approval of most critical fiscal reform of GST. Gujarat being biggest trader & mfg base, it is but natural. Resentment there is at it peak. If it loses, it would need to work hard on GST and relook at reforms strategy. For Rahul, whether he wins or loses, his future is decided as Congress President. He has not been affected by strings of defeats since a decade.I agree with you, how great it would be for Rahul if he wins. But, I had said, they have no cadre, no network on ground, no face for Gujarat. So, win for Congress is not possible.
