BJP is sinking. Dialogue in Mersal film is a silly matter. When you are right, why you bother about this film. Just ignore. BJP's fellow are barking because they could not tolerate this. They themselves know their system is wrong and unacceptable by the people. H.Raja will spoil the BJP. Better he should be removed from the party. We are all Indian and we have to work for the development of the country. Do you think the Christians in India came from UK and muslims from Saudi Arabia. All are Indians and they adapted their life system of their choice. The political person are there in different parties. Can you ask other political party persons to leave the country. Mr.Raja, just you think that what you have done for the country. Any one good thing you done in your life time. All Tamilians live here as brother and sisters. We have some problems which also created by BJP not any other party. My sincere advice to Raja that please concentrate to bring fund from Centre for development of TN. In that case, the people of TN will appreciate you and your activities.
How much a film party gets paid for a film? How much is spent for a film? How much tax these people pay? How finance for producing films is arranged? ....we don't know.
Now-a-days it has become a fashion to create to just push a film in box-office. Mersal is one more way.
Criticism and freedom of speech is okay. But you can't spread false stories on your neighbour's wife and enjoy.
In Mersal dialogues.... 1.Comparing Singapore with population of 50 lakhs with India, a country of 1.3 bn. is ridiculous. 2.28% GST in India is misleading. Nearly 75% of the items in India are at 12% or below GST. 3.Liquor is out of GST and it is taxed more than 28%. 4.Since independence in 1947 free treatment is available in all Indian States in Government Hospitals. Not all Govt. Hospitals are bad and not all private hospitals are good. 5.Budget of freebies in India is much more than GDP of Singapore.
After GST introduction, country is going through a period of transition. But GST has come to stay. Trying to obtain cheap popularity during such times is condemnable.

If at all Singapore cannot be compared - our country could be compared only with China. Of course introduction of GST - in transition - however many feel the difference in cost in medicines, food items in standard hotel (24-36 seats).

That is the biggest mute point. The people of Tamilnadu should blame themselves for all the bad things that are afflicting them presently. Mainly, water-shortage.
All these more than six decades, the two Dravidian parties (DMK & ADMK) have only looted the public money with the permission of public themselves. Because they have been voting for them always in turns.
And now, the people cannot blame the Central Modi government. He cannot come to save you because you have never voted for him.
As for the comparison with Singapore. That is no comparison.
In India only about 2% people are paying Income Tax. Whereas, everyone has to pay tax in Singapore.
So, just imagine even if 30 to 40% people in India pay Tax, how much facility we can provide to the public?
Modi government is trying to bring as many people into the tax net as possible. After that there will be only two or one GST Slab.

And when upright ED officers catch Adani in the act and file a case with incriminating evidence against him, the Modi govt files a false case of disproportionate assets against them and when the CBI fails to get any evidence for it, transfers them out of Ahmedabad !
This way, even if all earning Indians begin to pay taxes, there would still be nothing left for commoners as the Adanis and others will then become the worlds richest men !

The Adani case is very important in any discourse about corruption because it reveals how the govt is extremely corrupt and shields the most corrupt people even while making a show and dance about curbing corruption !
The P note round tripping act of Gautam Adani for laundering Rs 5468 crores of his corporate profits without paying taxes and the way the Modi govt has been leaving no stone unturned in trying to smother the case (despite nailing evidences filed in court by the ED officials) is so very symptomatic of how big time corruption thrives in this country !
And commoners don't understand it because they neither read enough nor think enough nor are aware enough about how big time corruption can and does greatly damages their interests !

Do you know that healthcare is not even free in Govt hospitals of Singapore? It is very expensive and private hospitals are even more expensive. People buy insurance or use a part of their PF money earmarked for medical expenses. While people may talk about freedom of expression via movies, I am for it but you cannot be distorting the facts under the garb of such a freedom. And Govt hospitals are free in India.
1) To day the opinions of nybody is basically based on ones religgion and political affinity.. 2) People pick up some 'soft' targets.
