Love ji..., hyndu.....muxlim.....hyndu...... are very effective tools to divert the attention of dumb north Indian commoners.Â
In Kerala however, the komaaaali partys toil with such noises has only caused the creation of a few satires, parodies, puns, etc that afford a few moments of mirth for common people !
In the recent Vengara assembly by-poll, the komaaaali party and its RSS cadre went hammer and tongs with love ji...., hyndu......muxlim......hyndu..... and what they called left terroxrism.
And their vote share fell from 5.8 % (7055 votes) in the 2016 assembly election to 4.7 % (5728 votes) now !

The population of the constituency is predominantly Muslim and Muslims League always wins it.BJP fight is symbolic and stands no chance.The reduced votes were because they had non Muslim candidate unlike last time

What about the fact that 22 % of the electorate in Vengara are hyndus ??
What about that ?
Why did just 4.7 % out of this 22 % (assuming that not a single muxlim voted for the komaaali party) vote for the BJP ?
Why did the BJPs vote share decline from 5.8 % in the 2016 election to 4.7 % this time (out of 22 % hyndus) ?
Why ?
Considering how the BJP labored extremely hard this time with love ji... and left violence, they ought to have at least increased their vote share from 5.8 %, right ?
I'm 24 yr old. I want to burst Diwali crackers in Delhi. I'm old enough to decide for myself. Who are Police to arrest me ? Who are Judges to punish me ?
I fully agree with the authors views that a 24 yr old can decide her future. but has the decision made with her free will with out any influence on her by concealing facts which led to her decision. I think the court could have appointed a counsellor ( Professional) and made the counsellor talk to her and then let her decide. The ordering of investigation is on the larger scale and should be investigated from a different point of view. Many times we decide on things with baised facts or insufficient facts. So if the decision was made by the girl out of free will and with full facts then it should be respected.
