Strategic results of surgical strike.
by Vinay on Oct 16, 2017 10:25 AM

Whole article starts with the assertion that Surgical strike was a fact. It is only the opposition leaders & their media friends who questioned the strike. Now finally it has been accepted.
As far as its strategic value it is too early to make any comment about it. We will know the Strategic value only when some more time has elapsed. One thing is certain that the launching pads have been shifted well away from LOC to keep the safe from Indian Strikes. It give our security forces to monitor the movements of the infitrators trying to infitrate.

Sugical Strikes Vs Shekhar Gupta
by Ravindra Parasnis on Oct 16, 2017 09:43 AM  | Hide replies

.. continued from previous ..
2. The larger and Strategic aim is not stated as per Shekhar Gupta's own writing in this blog. Then how does he conclude that strategically the 'surgical strike' was a failure?
3. Terrorists' lives are not as expendable to Pakistan as Mr. Gupta thinks. The loss matters to them considerably and in more ways than one.
4. They do not have unlimited resources, unlike what Mr. Gupta will have us believe. They do have their limitations for sure.
5. Drones are not entirely ineffective even against a good air defence system, which in any case our adversary doesn't have. Drones do have technical and tactical measures to improve their survival-ability.

Surgical strikes
by NG Nileshwar on Oct 16, 2017 06:53 AM  | Hide replies

The credibility of this Govt. is sinking fast. The paid media inserts such topics as surgical strikes and writers like Shekhar Gupta's analysis of it an year after, are clear indicators of this. Why does this Govt. require the help of such writers?
Modi has to realise than India is not Gujarat. He better deliver than speak. Good governance needs to be seen and not announced.
What has really changed except for the headlines of scams? If at all there is one, it will come out only after the CAG announces it.
Amit Shah could be the first casualty. This is just the beginning, unless Modi goes into election mode once again.
Of course, it will not be as bad as the Congress, but still I can say governance is not good.
Probably Modi has eaten more words than he could chew.

Surgical strikes, Demonetization, GST ...same trashy idiotic stories in a desperate attempt to create controversies out of nothing ?

Nowhere in the world , the media is so desperate to malign it's own government than in India.

Moronic cartoons and garbage analysis by air heads.

Sporadic strikes carry much less value.
by chanakya maurya on Oct 15, 2017 11:46 PM

There has to be a volley of strikes to make them more effective and meaningful.

How successful were surgical strikes?

PM Modi and his obedient ministers say that the surgical strike was successful. Let us therefore put our faith in the Government version and not of the world at large.

India Lost Political Battle Which Army Won
by Useless Comments on Oct 15, 2017 12:13 PM  | Hide replies

Due to poor follow up from the politicians India seems to have lost the political battle which Army had won it.

Due to poor policies of the Government, they failed to put pressure on Pakistan and let them off the hook. Results are not very good as of now...

Terr0rism is continue as before infact as per army reports it has increased
Launching pads have increased
Kashmir is still burning
