BJP says we will takeout the eyes of those who kill their volunteers, even-though they don't mind political violence against others, in fact they glorify such acts.
Left sees law of the land and its people as obstruction.
If for once they chose to try the Gandhi ji, by saying however strongly they feel about something they'll never subscribe to violence or glorify it.
Social media has created a sort of hatredness towards each other with different beliefs and ideology. This is not good for India in a long run. Good growth and development for a country not just by having roads and being digital, but our thoughts also needs to be equally progressive and progressive means we should have the ability to listen to different people who believes in different ideology and even trying to understand the view point. If police or law feels that during a lecture there could be a chance of propogating anti-India talk, then they can very well film the entire talk and accordingly act than just not allowing any lecture or seminar to be conducted. The idea of BJP's democracy will not work for long and if that is right, then there is no need for Court to exist. Only thro' discussions, debates, listening can our mind progress. The police doesn't seem to be exercising their duties properly as per the law book and is acting on the direction of anybody whom they feel are more threatening.

Well said. These so called intellectuals are the most arrogant types. They are a major road block to growth and development.
Philosophy advocating any means mostly immoral to achieve ends, resorting to deceit, phony arguments is exposed.

But when a point for point debate on what currently available archaeological, literary, linguistic and genetic evidence show about the history of human settlements in the Indian sub-continent is called for, the RSS historians run away !!
The most recent instance was when the BJP appointee in the ICHR, Prof Michel Danino, responded in panic to a detailed peer reviewed article of Mr Tony Joseph on what the most recent genetic studies using the latest tools of genome sequencing (male DNA as well as female DNA against the earlier methods of using only female DNA) reveal about migrations into the sub continent.
When Mr Tony Joseph responded by inviting Prof Danino to write his views and doubts about the latest results of genome studies on Indian and European populations in a science journal that is peer reviewed, the latter fell completely silent !

Tony Josephs article was not even published in a major journal nor was it recognised. while the earlier article appeared in the Nature magazine. So Mr Piri , your stand is quite weak
becoming mortally fearful of letting even the relatively more gullible north Indians hear independent views and opinions on politics, ideology and freedom !
They have been labouring harder and harder with their news factories and intimidative tactics !
