Niti Aayog and AIIMS should examine the results gained by university and if in right direction, research be expedited and expanded with funds made available for society's benefits in the long run instead of importing similar technologies from US & Europe. Local universities having research capabilities should be encouraged and suitable results obtained for growth and service to public.
I happened to visit the Hospital run by Matha at Cochin.It is really an eye opener for every one as to how to run a good hospital.Everything about her is near perfect.
We cannot wait for the West to solve problems. Rightly said. It is nice to hear that there is great amount of research happening at Amrita Institute. I hope these corporate guys who are in the list of world's richest try to take inspiration from the institutes managed by the trust and establish some research institutes that solves the problems of the people rather than starting some business schools or management schools. It also vindicates that private people can do great things with out the help of any govt agencies. We cannot wait for the West and we cannot wait for the govt to initiate things either. Govt or Gandhi need not teach us about cleanliness.

Yes. South does not need any individuals who simply sit at home and abuse people with out any logic. South Indians never abuse their own people unless someone is controversial or corrupt. North Indians got in to the habit of abusing each and every prominent person from north India whether a politician, bureaucrat, or a yogi.

Lessons learnt: if you create controversies against any yoga or meditation guru then he will become a global personality!
