Let India treat every individual with equal respect
by R ponnabalam on Oct 07, 2017 08:00 PM

"No one escapes India’s liberating influence except some doctrinaire Indians who are trying to create a land of bigotry." Till India gets rid of it's degrading casteism this is a vanity-fare .First India should know how to treat every human being with equal respect and treat so.R.PONNAMBALAM

Let us say History as it happened
by R ponnabalam on Oct 07, 2017 07:53 PM

Many European Union dignitaries have argued that Britain’s Indian involvement left the British that much less European”. but they didn’t say much less British.By the same token can it be said that Babur’s invasion and the Mughal rule had left India that much less South Asian. There is no doctrinarism for the plebeians. He looks at it as to how for the first time a land mass can be divided for the benefit of one time invader clan because they had proselytized -we are tolerant not to term it bigotry-to such an extent that in 1947 India was the country of biggest faith followers in the world of an invader’s faith .Bigotry is in the following words said in 1888 in Meerut” If our Hindu brothers of these Provinces, and the Bengalis of Bengal, and the Brahmans of Bombay, and the Hindu Madrasis [[51]] of Madras, wish to separate themselves from us, let them go, and trouble yourself about it not one whit. We can mix with the English in a social way. We can eat with them, they can eat with us. Whatever hope we have of progress is from them. The Bengalis can in no way assist our progress”.Let not the blame be slapped on wrong door R.PONNAMBALAM

hindi imposition can achieve what pakistan coukld not so far
by R ponnabalam on Oct 05, 2017 05:15 PM  | Hide replies

“the Mughals became Indo-Mughals”. No.It is the otherway about ;Indians became Mughal-Indians so much so that in 1947 India had the biggest Muslim population in the world. Some believe in proselytization and that is continuing till date. Practicing proselytization and eulogizing eclectism go hand in hand for survival instincts “Eclecticism is euphemism for survival instincts .All the people here have to live here and die here;no escape from that.Despite following Saudi Arab culture codes as said in Kuransherif or Thirukuraan no one of those followers can get citizenship in Saudi Arabia. That defines our tolerance .The official language is that in which the constitution is written. It is English. Hindi is URDU with some sprinkling of Sanskrit words in it to give religion-ward look to it and this has come about in 1867 when north India wanted to write Urdu in Devnagri script and called it Hindi.North India can, like that, write English also in Devnagri script and satisfy itself. The imposition of Hindi will achieve what Pakistan could not -dismememberment of India R.PONNAMBALAM

Yes.I do not accept Sanskrit as Lingua Franca nor your Urdu called Hindi when written in Devnagri and do not accept a country in which I have no equal rights as my country. One man spoke thus in Meerut in 1888"If our Hindu brothers of these Provinces, and the Bengalis of Bengal, and the Brahmans of Bombay, and the Hindu Madrasis [[51]] of Madras, wish to separate themselves from us, let them go, and trouble yourself about it not one whit. We can mix with the English in a social way. We can eat with them, they can eat with us. Whatever hope we have of progress is from them. "You be with those . We will be in our land whereas yours will be never beyond Vindyas and you never had been before the BritishR.PONNAMBALAM

Every language is a temple where the soul of the man who speaks it is enshrined said Wendell. No language is hated. Those who talk of Sanskrit should recall that they had given it up under the invader's yoke and boarded the train of Farzi, URDUN/URDU.>urdu>sanskrit words sprinkling in it>call it Hindi writing it in devnagri in stead of Nastaliq. Why do you inflict what you happened to suffer on others that too foreign tongue of foreign culture R.PONNAMBALAM

Iam a hindu and dont accept sanskrit as the only compulsory language. My language is tamil( that lived here for 4000 years) , so its better you change your opinion or you may leave. BTW i know 5 indian languages (which you may not even know). Our country is a unique country with 18 languagges. If you are the one who dont like 17 of them its your problem and seriously its your choice to leave. (not the 17 )

Sir,
After babur's invasion and islamization the ancestors of the present generation in U.P. had to give up talking Sanskrit in day to day use and had to speak farzi and urdun. What Religion you allow for them as they had given up speaking Sanskrit ?R.PONNAMBALAM

One shop keeper , a Lala , told me in U.P."we speak urdu" when I couldn't tell word for forty seven or so and asked me,"don't you know urdu?"Later I asked one man in kanpur and another man in train while traveling from kanpur to Lucknow what is the difference between Hindi and Urdu.Came the answer both the times to my surprise"NO DIFFERENCE".Then I checked in internet. Then T.V.s the PAKS.IND INDS. say "WE speak the same language, dress the same way " and allthat bonhomie. That should give some clue .R.PONNAMBALAMR.PONNAMBALAM

the world is divided into 190 countries and almost all of them were created on the formula of one language one nation. Thats the power of language to divide people along linguistic lines ..linguistic domination is never acceptable.
