i personally feel that the article is not by an economist (sinhaji) but was an ex-FM.
coming to demonetization people have accepted inspite of stanting in queues (except the politicians).
GST is another tax policy brought into practice after prolonged deliberations in parliament by the parliament members.
accepting a change takes time and change is to be invited or invetable.
when VAT was introduced many felt the same way.
hence the politicians should speak in the parliament and not outside and that to the persons from ruling party.
this is my opinion, personal

i personally feel that the article is not by an economist (sinhaji) but was an ex-FM.
coming to demonetization people have accepted inspite of stanting in queues (except the politicians).
GST is another tax policy brought into practice after prolonged deliberations in parliament by the parliament members.
accepting a change takes time and change is to be invited or invetable.
