I am a Muslim.
Liberal, educated and pluralist.
Humans love and respect all humans.
We respect all faiths and hold all deities in high reverence.
I have friends from all faiths. We celebrate all festivals with each other.
The problems are the corrupt politicians who spread hatred for their gains. Unfortunately a vast majority get carried away by the venom they spew.
But I am confident with the literacy rate going up people will soon see through their nefarious designs.

DURGA PUJA IN BANGLADESH.
by Balasubramanian Swaminthaiyer on Oct 04, 2017 12:36 PM

IN 1996 WHEN I WAS GOING BY RAJDHANI EXPRESS FROM HOWRAH TO NEW DELHI IN CHAIR CAR,SOME BANGLADESHI PASSENGERS ALL MUSLIMS WERE GOING TO AJMER SHERIF VIA DELHI. MY NEXT SEAT WAS OCCUPIED BY A YOUNG LAWYER FROM BARISAL. I CASUALLY ASKED HIM THAT "BANGLADESHE DURGAPUJO HOY?" (DOES DURGAPUJA TAKE PLACE IN BANGLADESH?) HE INSTANTLY REPLIED "MAA KI SHUDHU APNADER? MA JAGAT JANANI. AMRA HOY TO APNADER MOT PRONAM KORINA, KINTU CHANDA DI, PUJO DEKHTE BEROI, PANDAL SSAJGOJ AMADER JUBAKRA KORE" (MOTHER IS NOT ONLY YOURS, SHE IS THE MOTHER OF THE WORLD. WE DO NOT WORSHIP LIKE YOU, BUT WE PAY SUBSCRIPTIONS, VISIT THE PANDALS, AND OUR YOUTH ARRANGE FOR THE DECORATIONS."
