BJP is losing hold. Demonetisation and GST have hurt people. Allies have started deserting. Development has been replaced by rhetoric. Anti-incumbency has started growing. Caste politics has seeped in. Congress has re-invented its strategies. BJP may still get many seats but not as many as earlier. The downward slide has begun. 2019 beware! A strong non-BJP Coalition may emerge.

Yes, congress lost amethi municipal. days is not far they are extinct from everywhere. with simple majority BJP can still rule gujarat. that is more than enough.
Sitting at South India, from the Malayam News channels and rediff , I get a feeling that BJP is struggling in Gujarat. I got an opportunity to visit Baroad a few months before and stayed there for 3 days. I love to stay in Baroda than in any part of India such a safe City. If BJP fails in Gujarat , it will have National Impact. Stock market will collapse and again 2019 will be challenging for NDA. No body wish India grow, there are many to destabilise India.
