First Unbiased article from rediff

I agree with the author. Pakistan does not want Kashmir alone, it wants whole India. It wants to introduce the barbaric shariat laws in India. If one can read between the lines then the author has clearly asked the Govt. of India and the polilical class to stop minority appeasement issue. Pakistan is taking the undue advantage of division of Indians in the name of religions, cast, region and language. When we say that we are secular then why this special treatment to particular group? This kind of reservations, special statuses are only increasing the divide between two fellow Indians. Politicians are gaining in the short term due to such divisive politics but in the longer term India will again fall into hands of foreign tyrant ruler or rulers.
Pakistan very well know this situation in India, hence it is confident India will break down into many small parts, if a major war happens.
Stop minority appeasement, put a full stop to illegal conversions, concentrate more on education, health care, infrastructure and employment.
Reservations, minority appeasement, illegal conversions are the bane of our society.
Remove the cast, religion, language and region columns from all the application forms, only keep one column i.e. nationality. Hope that day will come soon.

You have revealed a fact in the best possible manner and i doubt even this spoonfeeding is sufficient enough to make them (desh-drohis) within INDIA to understand the reality.

The opposition party and the likes who tried last year visited kashmir trying peace ,had a clear and distinct NOSE-CUT, still think talks are best way to maintain peace in kashmir.

If at all, only the kashmiris must want peace, but here the kashmiris want "freedom or autonomous status" while some of the indian politicians want to establish peace !!

The final word on kashmir could be what Musharaf said " like returning live after meeting with cannibals ", and this from the mouth of a ex-ruler of pakistan and a hard-liner ( even by mistake he never accepted indian views) , as far as indo-pak relations are concerned.

The 1947 split is final as far as boundaries are concerned and a change on it can never be dreampt of, except in a future war if it took place. So the ideal condition is to preserve the boundaries.

The post independance agreements whatever made were in a hurry burry and confusion , without giving deep thought and according some special powers for kashmir or elsewhere could be only time-bound, and can never be permanant.

Now kashmir is INDIA, and may be the after- adjustment "POK" may be not thought of, the special powers accorded to kashmir is an " HINDRANCE" to the peace process and trying to establish talks seems an unpractical idea.

Read the article again. The reference to cannibals is by the writer, not Musharraf.
