Rediff does't display who started this polarization and doesn't display who said what.Sir Syed khan in Meerut in 1888,Md,Ali Jinna in Lahore on 2nd March 1942 Dojanwe ,all had spoken good English.Alas! Rediff doesn't display that if copied and pasted to authenticate the stance. Our Govts' had hidden these from our knowledge. Now internet sites tell that. But Rediff doesn't recognize internet R.Ponnambalam
Very glad to see your recognition that Modi was NOT divisive till now and has become divisive only now durin Gujarat elections, whereas all other leaders are divisive always... Finally a recognition of Modi secularism from you.. All others are communal cases not listening to your advice of avoiding divisiveness, you hope that Modi will certainly avoid divisiveness...
Mr Modi - as head oh the largest democracy should forsake the detestable job of low - level party hatch man . The bluff & bluster has become the signature tune of Modi Govt. BJP has joined hands with obscure & self accredited desh bhakts who have arrogated to themselves the exclusive right to distribute certificate of DESHBHAKTI & IMANDARI. Not just the political landscape of the country, the quality of politics itself has changed in Modi era.
Who does not know about the hate of Nehru for Sardar Patel. How the daughter of Sardar Patel was treated by Nehru is known to all the Gujarati. It does not need any evidence. It was the greatness of Sardar Patel because of which Nehru became PM in his place. This article just meant for defaming Narendra Modi. The game of divisiveness is being played by Congress who have till now appeasing the Muslims and now dividing people by cast.
Don't publish such irrelevant & baseless articles. First go and do your homework. Muslims are now way more happier than they used to be. Many of my Muslim friends are echoing this on daily discussion on various issues.

Sanjeev, you are perfect. I am a Muslim, a Nationalist to the core. Almost all my Muslim friends are happy with the way India is shaping under BJP. Agreed it will take time to reap rich dividends. When India prospers - all of will obviously get a slice of pie. We have to be optimist.

I am not a BJP supporter. But I am relieved that the situation that banks had no liquidity, and investment was not coming into Industry has turned for the better. There is still not much investment coming into Industry.BJP is unable to come out of the shackles of "Privatize" as sole Elixir for all our ills. The communal card played is bogus one.We did 'nt speak all these some 30yrs back. You may feel different from me on this.I believe that the fund from saudi Arabia plays a big role in importing Saudi cultural and conduct and dress codes of S.Arabia and creating all the loud mouthed differences .We must remain rooted here. But that is not to question one who thinks different However much we try to become a foreign cultural code practitioner we would not be of their ethnicity and so according to them would be one practicing less pure form.R.Ponnambalam

The wrong blame game and victim syndrome has to stop.True,Our Govts' have hidden a lot many things spoken in the past from eyes by not having them in our school syllabus. Now they prop up unexpectedly from internet sites, taking us shocked at such utterances. Those utterances do not match the victim syndrome etc played out.Second thing is we are a country of seven religions. We can not have discourse on the basis of two religions-the invader religion and the invaded's religion. We are complicating things for ourself with this artificial &absurd division R.Ponnambalam

There are seven religions practiced in India ;we all have stakes. It can not be on the basis of the religion of the invader and the Religion of the invaded. That fundamentally denies equality to all religions and is a high handed style of divisioning .R.Ponnambalam
What else we can can expect from a comrade like u, why most of d ppl from Bengal is having these kind of sick mentality. These days I can judge any articles on the basis name of its writer, if it is written by Ghosh, Bhattacharya, Basu, Chatterjee etc, no need to read it fully, as result is apparent.
Sad that it is happening from d land which is birth place of Swami Vivekanand & Netaji, don't know what happened to those bhdra lok
