Why did Modi meet Karunanidhi?
To confuse everyone and keep them guessing?

How long back can you go..

If you talk of going after perpetrators of economic offences, you will never be able to do anything else. You have to start somewhere. But if you show decorum and personal warmth, there is nothing wrong.

To show his support and solidarity to the corrupt
by claudius lazarus on Nov 17, 2017 03:02 PM

Modi's meeting with Karuna was what Modi really believes in. While he has made a lot of noise about corruption in the UPA regime, he has done little to book the culprits. He is in fact trying to forge alliances with them. His support to Sharad Pawar and now Karuna is completely opposite of what he spoke about them. Clearly Modi kehta kuch hai aur karta kuch hai.

This lacks logic. India has been a refuge for all persecuted religions. It is a sad commentary on those who even refuse to acknowledge this great quality and instead only lambaste this culture.

As said it lacks logic. Other religions followers cannot be eradicated as most of whom are Indian Origins. To free themselves from the dominants many have converted to other religions.

Almost all industrialists were beneficiaries of 2G scam including Tatas and Ambanis. So they want to hush up the case. That is why our famous PM went to Gopalapuram to meet the great Kalaingar.

They would have been the biggest beneficiaries of the loot if the 2G allocations had been allowed to remain. In any case, they would have earned much more than the Rs 3000 crores they allegedly paid as bribe to Raja.

Strangely, while politicians and bureaucrats who take bribes and kickbacks are seen as corrupt (rightly), the businessmen who pay them bribes and loot public wealth to a far higher degree are seen by gullible middle class commoners as heroes who *develop* the country !

Mr Piri: your first part of the comment is mere assumption or notional or guessing. As the prevailing rule framed by then Telecom minister Late Mr Mahjan during 1999 seems to have been followed. AS per CAG, 'HAD' it been auctioned the govt would have gained a notional amount of 1.76 lakh crores. At the time of execution or implementation had any corruption was there the minister is responsible. It is just if & but.

However the party he belongs is the pioneer for corruption in TN and their successors after 1991 are the incomparable biggest looters. The morale of TN people is changed since then (1969)and get accustomed to till date. People themselves do not prefer a rightious, rule bounded honest officials like the rulers. Tall assurances with emotions are being believed still.
