If you see congress you would find leaders with qualifications in literature, English and law. They think they are like grits but they are utter nonsense people with no direction for the nation.
Whatever Sanjay Gandhi could Do, still it can be done population is biggest problem of India and only this should be addressed on priority not even corruption.
Indira Gandhi 1.was the mother of corrupt India 2.she undermined democratic institutions and imposed emergency. 3.by entering into Shimla agreement she gave away what all our army won in the 1971 war. 4.she promoted dynastic rule in India 5.she foolishly did army action in Golden temple hurting sikh sentiments.

I totally agree with you and want to add a few of my 1) Her economic policies made Indians poor 2) She nationalized everything and brought in mediocrity that is till date displayed in all government departments 3) Her policies of helping only the politically connected is responsible for the NPAs of Nationalized Banks. 4)She handed over 90000 POWs without getting the Kashmir Mess (created by her father resolved) The biggest disservice was she produced two sons and both lived long enough to produce brats of their own.

She unnecessarily fought Bangla war and allowed 2 crore Bangladeshi refuges which have become more than 8 crores....have become nuisance in WB, Assam , Nagaland and have spread all over India...She did not solve Kashmir problem ... divided India into Majority Minority...

Had she not liberated Bangla Desh Pak would have given double side attack or at least would have been a nuisance now differently. India faced the wrath of united nations and economic ban at that time. Normally any action taken today will become outdated after a period of time later - cannot be compared for an action taken some 46 years ago now. I remember some persons who were born prior to 1930s used to comment during 50/60s as if British Rule was better and blamed the freedom fighters. Is it acceptable.
IF YOU ASK SOME QUESTION ABOUT FREEDOM THEN THEY TELL WHAT THEY READ FROM HISTORY SO SHE IS RESPECTED BUT FOR FUTURE INDIA AND IF WE WANT TO BE A POWERFUL COUNTRY LIKE USA THEN WANT A GRATE LEADER HE WILL BE MORE BETTER THAN WE GOT
Those were the days when her party got absolute majority in Parliament if she had use her power for betterment of country India would be at the top but instead she messed up in corruption and corrupt practice s for self gain gradually she lost control on administration also which our country suffer a lot.

She is the one who actually brought true dynastic politics by dividing Congress & reduced every other leader to puppet just for her family.The amount of corruption she promoted during emergency & afyer returning to power in 1980 is haunting the nation now.

Yeah!!In the same way the experienced who had toiled 2 build the party were made "MargDarshak" or rather "Mookdarshak",with onlt "JEEhuzurs" in the cabinet with no knowledge or xperince,only throw long like their Master!!!!

I India sided with that DYnasty...so dont blame her singularly ! She made mistakes but led the nation courageously when it mattered most..
