Supreme Court Judges

The two bench has indulged in gross insubordination. It is an established fact that the Chief Justice of India is the master of the roster. The two judges must be dismissed immediately.

I agree. Some judges have crossed the limit and have tarnished the image of the very institution there are a part of. Judges speak their stand/views in court; not in press conferences. People go to judges for justice; not vice versa.

Very true. Politics has seeped into every institution. Thanks to some of our political parties. If you can't hit Modi directly, hit everyone around him; is their mantra to win 2019.

Judges bribery case

Are we qualified to call ourselves the largest democracy of this world?

The entire onus lies on the judiciary and its behaviour is atrocious to say the least. All the other three wings of democracy have never stood up to their calibre. The judiciary was expected to but even it has joined the other three wings of democracy.
The Press is the worst. I would have never expected anchors shouting at the participants.
In a democracy, the first rule is decency and behaviour. Howsoever strong is the provocation, shouting and yelling has become the rule of the day, not a healthy debate.

Watch debates, if one can call them so, in legislatures. Even school children behave better. Well for the press, all this is fodder. They need to sensationalise to fill the 24x7 slots. And they call it "Breaking New". Breaking what??? The country, its peace, the cannons of discipline, the essence of democracy? Alas, Meraa Bhaarat Mahaan!!!

I agree. Most judges are good and honest. A few black sheep cannot be reason to paint all in the same brush. But, there is definitely cause for concern. Even a single corrupt judge brings down the image of the respectable institution. Weeding out and punishing these black sheep must be swift and sure. Alas, it is not!!!
