A sweeper's job
by virendra gupta on Nov 09, 2017 04:35 PM

Let us remove this bias from the thinking in our society that a sweeper's job is a lowly job. Every job is equal-rather I will say, the sweeper is doing one of the greatest services to mankind. With mechanization imcreasing day by day, sweeper may as well be working like or better than a mechanic or a vegetable shop owner.
more over with a migration of some qualified persons to sweeping, there may be a quantum change in the quality and even logistics of sweeping.
Further, let us honestly analyse the difference in unschooled and schooled persons. Is there a quantum difference in the attitudes-no. Then what is the problem/hitch in this (very great) paradigm change.
Virendra

A sweeper in gov job gets more than average MBA in India
by NEO HITLER on Nov 09, 2017 04:08 PM

A sweeper in gov job gets more than average MBA in India. There has been an exorbitant increase in salaries to gov employees, 90% of whom are laggards, corrupt iidiots, and good-for-nothing fellows.

unfair

This is a biased and unfair article. Are these mbas employable? Can they write one sentence without grammatical errors? The fact is they are not even fit for sweeper post.

Job vs Naukri
by on Nov 09, 2017 01:29 PM

After 7th Pay Commission the Govt jobs have become more attractive. For routine desk jobs engineers are applying. The educated people should be given jobs as teachers in Govt schools and Colleges. That way we can have better teachers in Govt schools and colleges to deliver education outcomes while giving chance to unemployed educated youth. Jai Hind..

Regulation for other Sectors necessary
by Ashish Swaroop on Nov 09, 2017 12:55 PM

It has to be more regulated working in private and domestic sectors also- like in Delhi, private Schools are obliged to give pay commission hikes to teachers - so that the attitude of private employers is altered. That would alter the attitude of job seekers too.

They are unqualified for the qualifications they are holding. Either they have passed exams by copying or unfair means. They are fit for only such jobs and take pride that they are graduates and post graduates.

SWEEPER JOBS
by JIGNESH on Nov 09, 2017 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

I have worked as an engineer in private firm with 10 hours heavy work daily - no stool/ chair to sit and continuous standing with mere 10000 Rs monthly salary along with
salary cut on leave days with added bad words from my boss and customers with zero value for work .
I personally feel it is better to work as a sweeper in govt job which is secURED and gives more earning rather than working as engineer in private firm in india -
INDIA IS A WORST COUNTRY TO WORK IN ,
