Aakar Patel like people either have no interest or do not understand Foreign POlicy, Economic policy and development of defense establishments.
They hang on to and hanker on Love Jihad ( one case in Kerala), Cow Slaughter ( It was not even the stance of the government but a local political establishment) and Hindutva( again a local phenomenon). because it is fashionable to be ANTi_HINDU in this country.
It is a fashion in this country - unless you pick on Hindutva, you are not considered an intellectual ( and some nondescript US university will call you for a guest lecture).
